a kind of living mostly-visual document of the paracosm of sorts that me and ehm have slowly built up over the years.
A lot of times you'll see us talk about "The House"; The House is less of a building and more of a collective group. Many people in The House are related by ties of blood and ties of passion. There *is* an actual *house* that many folks who are grouped under The House either have lived in, or currently live in; it is in the more rural part of the exurbs within a reasonable commute from a large urban city centre, approximated as Toronto for some specification. It has no near neighbours but it sits adjacent to some larger plots of land that have neighbours. It is visible from the road - not a very active road but still one who's traffic moves by too fast to get a good look at the building.
There are three current major continuities:
normal!verse, in which there are humans and humanoid creatures (collectively known as "demons", "dragons", and "spirits" [not incorporeal]), supernatural entities (to some extent, vampires, fae, canon. gods, ghosts, unknown.) These are either so non-impressive to humans that they fail to register comment, or humans are by and large ignorant of the reality of some beings (non-humans finding their own existence too mundane to draw attention to).
human!verse, in which everyone is human and some entities are better explained as delusions. Human verse crosses over with:
mym!verse, a sub-verse of the human verse, with the only change being that two of our beebz are involved in a fantastical magic pocket universe set in the "Meet Your Monster" RP group's story.
The differences are relatively minor in some aspects, but also have major consequences for how certain characters develop.
